Change is Constant
The Graphic Design program at the American University in Cairo (AUC) prepares students for a range of professional paths—equipping them to become critical thinkers and interdisciplinary practitioners capable of shaping visual communication with intention and insight.
At its core, the program encourages students to question the social responsibilities of design, respond to rapidly evolving cultural, social, and economic conditions, and imagine creative solutions for the challenges of tomorrow.
Our students learn to adapt and respond to change—because change is at the very heart of design.
Design is an iterative process. Research informs concepts, which translate into form—just as form feeds back into concept, prompting further research. As our students have evolved over the course of their education, so too have their final year projects, Mashrou.
Perfectly expressed in the Art-work:
Outcomes are temporary—process is growth.
